Staff were very friendly and the room was clean, cool and calm. Excellent value for money.
The wifi didn't work very well, but the staff gave me a temporary connection and are evidently trying to fix the problem.

The hotel was convenient to everything I wanted to see. It's a short walk from the park of the Villa Borghese and has good restaurants and bars nearby.
The shower attachment was very poor and the sink tap only trickled water. At about 5.00a.m. every morning a loud noise came - I guess from an air conditioning unit.

The room was spacious and clean.
Shower stall was very small, and water pressure was very poor. Plumbing is very poor, you can hear the sound of toilets flushing- not good when you are trying to rest. There is no free private parking as stated in the hotel description!

Excellent accommodation! Helpful, friendly staff. Clean, modern & spacious room. Close to restaurants & mass transit. This facility deserves a 3-4 Star rating.
Some signage in the entry area would have been helpful to find the lobby. (It was difficult to understand the receptionist over the poor building intercom system.) Once I was registered though, I had a very pleasant experience.

Perfect hotel at an interesting location near downtown Rome. Only a couple of minutes walking from buses into all directions (Colosseum, Vatican, Termini station) and about 10 minutes away from the subway. The staff is very friendly and willing to give information about Rome. The room was modern, clean and had access to a giant courtyard. Beds and bathroom were good!
Only two minor things: the central airconditioning unit was placed next to our room - we couldn't sleep with the doors open (noise). With the doors closed the noise was gone, so we had to keep on the airconditioning all day and switch it off at night time to have silent AND cool room. The other thing that could have been better was the drain in the bathroom. After showering, water kept staying at one half of the bathroom. The towels helped us (and the water) out :)

This is a small family run budget hotel (previously classed as a pensione) in the centre of Rome away from the expensive restaurants and shopping areas. The staff are generally responsive to reasonable requests. There are good value excellent quality family restaurants and cafes within walking distance to suit every budget and excellent public transport which links most parts of the city (including the airport via Ostiense Railway Station, bus 60) about 50 - 100 m from the hotel

Excellent value. Wonderful staff, cordial & helpful with directions, etc. Room was clean and comfortable. Short walk to Borghese Gardens & transportation. Cafes within 1-2 blocks. This is as good a hotel as any you'll find for the money.
Finding addresses can be tricky in Rome. Even our cab driver blew by and had to go around the block. Look for the black doors.

Great location, easy access to all sites of interest by bus, very clean (daily change of sheets/towels etc), very friendly and helpful english speaking staff, comfortable room with simple yet tasteful design and finally, great price for its services. In conclusion, it definately deserves at least a 3- star rating and would recommend it to friends without a second thought

We put up at the Hotel Versailles in September 2011, it was excellent, the staff were very very helpful and nice, rooms are new, comfortable, well-equiped. We stayed with a 1 year old baby. The hotel is not a big one, it is two floors of a building, so there's almost a home, family atmosphere. The hotel is not in the very city center, but for us it was good, you can reach all the tourist attractions (trevi, spanish steps, piazza del popolo, colosseum etc.) for 15-25 min on foot, but many buses stop right near the hotel, if you want. Termini is about 15 min on foot.
If you like huge hotels you may not like this one, but we quite the contrary like the cosy little hotels.

Very friendly and helpful staff (english speaking) ,As a young couple visiting rome for the first time we found the location to be perfect ,plenty of nice restaurants nearby and only a 15-20 min walk from termini train station.
Not the easiest hotel to find as its in a shared building there's no obvious sign stating hotel versailles.

Very good hotel, helpful, but not intruding staff - which I valued a lot. Fair location and clean comfortable room. Great view from the window on the spacious yard, local market and lots of cafes nearby. Quite good for staying a couple of nights!
